LBhealthcare Paralysed Swimmer raises money for Spinal Injuries – updated 30th Oct

Jan Crispin, who was paralysed in a car crash in 2010, took part in a sponsored swim at LBhealthcare to raise money for people with spinal injuries.
Jan has limited movement in her arms, but no movement in her hands, legs or torso and swims on her back, skulling with her arms, supported by floats around her neck, knees and waist.
On 28th October Jan swam 200 lengths of our pool (1.04 miles) in 1hr 7mins!, raising money for Southern Spinal Injuries Trust (SSIT) where she spent six months rehabilitating.
Jan has already raised more than £4,100.
