On Sunday 17th March, director of LBhealthcare, Mark Vincent, braved the freezing conditions to run the Reading Half Marathon in support of The Rainbow Centre in Fareham.
Mark finished the race with old school friend Peter Nobbs in a time of 1 hr 56 min, both raising £700 for the local charity which inspires and supports children with Cerebral Palsy and adults suffering from stroke, MS and Parkinson’s disease and their families.
Mark said, “My time was less a reflection of the biblical conditions and more a comment on advancing years and lack of athletic prowess. However, merely finishing along with most of the other 18,000 runners is an achievement in itself. LBhealthcare is proud to be associated with such a worthwhile charity.”
